Darley was a first-floor addition including a new bathroom, three new bedrooms, and the addition of a beautifully crafted timber detailed staircase panel feature. It was completed in collaboration with Inner West Sydney Architect Amrish Maharaj and was featured on the blog website Hunting For George. A huge challenge faced and overcome on this project was restricted access, whereby we had a 1 metre wide lane to work in. We had to protect and preserve the existing ground floor kitchen and bathroom areas while creating a first-floor masterpiece. Some of the stands out features of Darley include the James Hardy cladding, commercial frame windows, and authentic hardwood flooring throughout.
